Emergency appointments are available on the same day and are initially triaged by our Advanced Nurse Practitioner. These appointments are for urgent problems that cannot wait for a routine appointment. Due to these appointments being available at short notice it is not always possible for you to see your regular GP and in most cases you will be seen by the Advanced Nurse Practitioner where appropriate.
Telephone our direct line 0141 332 3526 between 8.30am and 6pm.
During normal working hours, if there is an emergency that cannot wait for an appointment please notify our reception staff who will contact the on-call doctor.
Consultations are by appointment only and can be arranged by:
* Telephone consultations and nurse appointments will still have to be booked through the reception team.

Appointments by phone can be more flexible and often means the doctor or nurse can help you sooner.
When you get in touch, we’ll ask what you need help with.
We will use the information you give us to choose the most suitable doctor, nurse or health professional to help you.
If you cannot attend an appointment for any reason please inform us as soon as possible in order for us to give the slot to someone else.
You can also complete our appointment cancellation notification request form. This can only be used if your appointment has been arranged for more than 24 hours in advance (excluding weekends and public holidays). You can also text to cancel your appointment.
If you need urgent medical assistance when the surgery is closed please call NHS24 on 111 (free).
The website can be found at www.nhs24.com.
In a genuine emergency you should call 999. Chest pains and / or shortness of breath constitute an emergency.

If you are housebound and need an appointment, we will do a home visit. We will phone you first to understand what you need.
To request a home visit, it’s helpful if you phone the practice before 10am.
We have a texting service which allows you to receive confirmation and reminders about your appointments.
To have this service you will need to register by completing a consent form.
Please remember to update your contact details with us when you change address, telephone numbers and email address.
